Recently, after more than 2 years of in-depth research and hundreds of experiments, the Shandong Aluminum Processing Plant of China Aluminum Corporation successfully solved the problem of low yield of colored extinction electrophoretic coloring products for aluminum profiles, and entered the field of the most advanced surface deep processing technology for aluminum profiles in China.
Shanlv No.1 "is a key research and development project established by the aluminum processing plant of the enterprise in 2008 to develop new processes and explore new markets - the aluminum profile color extinction electrophoresis process. The project was approved by China Aluminum Corporation in the same year and tested for production in the surface treatment workshop of the aluminum processing plant. It is a surface treatment process that integrates electrophoretic coloring and painting. Compared with current surface treatment processes such as single tin salt, single nickel salt, and nickel tin composite salt for aluminum profiles in China, it greatly improves labor efficiency and fills the domestic gap.
In August 2009, with the efforts of multiple parties, the trial production of "Shanlv No.1" was successful, and large-scale production began at the same time. However, through production, it was found that the yield rate of "Shanlu No.1" was only 80.6%, which is significantly lower compared to other types of electrophoretic coloring products. The QC team in the surface treatment workshop of the aluminum processing plant has successfully solved most of the problems in the process through in-depth research, technical training, revision of process parameters, formulation of corresponding process inspection standards, and regular technical competitions. Currently, the product yield rate has reached 91.2%. Its successful research and development marks that the enterprise has entered the field of the most advanced aluminum profile surface deep processing technology in China, reaching the quality standards of international peers such as Japan and Germany for color extinction electrophoresis products.
